The 3 Worst Times of Day to Eat Carbs

Carbing up first thing in the morning is recommended by health experts. However, there are 3 times of day that are especially bad for loading up on breads and starches.
1. Although you should eat some carbohydrates after a workout, only a small amount is needed, usually just 15-20g. You should plan to consume most of your carbs before your workout begins.
2. Not much after dinner, because we don’t really need such a huge energy boost so late in the evening.
3. Avoid eating carbs right before bedtime, because spikes in blood sugar caused by excess nighttime carb-consumption could keep you up all night.
