Due to past suspensions, 2018 was Randy Gregory’s first full year in the NFL despite being drafted in 2015 in the second round. The defensive end has only played in 28 games in four seasons.
All of the suspensions stem from Gregory’s violations of the NFL’s substance abuse policy. This latest one comes after he broke terms of a conditional reinstatement issued last July. Gregory was previously banned for the entire 2017 season and 14 games the year before.
