Travis Scott might be facing some legal trouble. Scott is being sued by the organizers of the music festival Rhythm, Wine & Brews Experience.
Empire Music Ventures claims that Scott calling off the performance led to the cancellation of the festival and that Scott stole his $217,500 deposit. Scott was to be paid $400,000 for a 75-minute headlining set. The event was to be held on March 2 at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California.
Scott’s lawyer claims that the rapper hasn’t had any contact with the festival’s organizers.
