Juelz Santana was arrested in March after trying to board a plane with a loaded handgun and oxycodone pills at Newark International Airport.
According to TMZ, Santana pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and carrying a weapon on an aircraft. His status as a felon stems from a 2011 arrest for possession of marijuana and firearms.
Santana, who appears on VH1’s ‘Love & Hip Hop,’ predicted on the show that he’d get 27 to 37 months for the crime. The rapper will be under supervised release for one year after serving his sentence.
